PICKING UP THE PIECES…

Often times after a “what now” experience, we are left in many shattered pieces.  These shattered pieces represent our delayed dreams, heartbreak, baggage from relationships, lost momentum, etc.  You may feel confused or hopeless when looking at all these pieces and wonder how you will move past this. These feelings are natural because when your world has been turned upside down, it is difficult to land on your feet.

 

BUT…there is good news on the other side of a “what now” experience. This time is a refining period and during your refining period, there will be twists, turns, and stretching.  Just like gold, refining will remove the impurities from your life and result in a new(better) version of you.

 

Sooo…here’s the secret…Simply, “Quit cursing the process! You cannot choose the path that God decides to take you to get you to your destiny! Hold on and TRUST the ride!” ~Tera C. Hodges

 

This statement is so powerful!  When we accept that God’s ways are far better than our own, we experience peace, the peace that passes all understanding.

 

Chorus for Today: “You, know, sometimes in life, situations are going to occur where you may look to the left or the right and you can’t find any answers and you can’t find anybody to help you. “BUT, I’m reminded of the Word that says they that wait upon the Lord, He shall renew their strength.     In a commencement speech given by Sean “Puff Daddy”  Combs he asks the question “what are you gonna do now?  There’s no rescue team coming.”
    When it feels like you are at your wits end.  When it feels like all hope is gone and you have more questions than answers.
    Those “what now” experiences are the true tests of your faith and beliefs. When you don’t know what to do. 
     
    You have to rely on God.  Put all your experiences and knowledge to the side and solely rely on God.  It’s hard but nobody said it would be easy.  Each time you interfere with God’s plan you are just setting yourself back from the wonderful Life God has instore for you. 
    That’s a reason you must stayed prayed up.  Pray in and out of season.   Be grateful for everything.
     
    I love the chorus selected for this topic it goes along with the following verse:
     
    But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint…. Isaiah 40:31
     
    Be patient… Be Still … God will prevail.
    You must be still.  You can’t hear God if you are constantly moving and making noise.
     
    Often times, a “what now’ Experience makes me think of the song Stand by Donnie McClurkin.
